Late Of The Pier won the 2009 Neptune Music Prize for their 2008 record, Fantasy Black Channel, and they return with a new single, 'Best In The Class' on March 1. Brilliant stuff.

Anyway, the video for it has just been unleashed, and here it is, directed by Sam Potter and Steve Glashier. Can't really say much more because it's 18:22 on a Friday evening and my dinner is already in the oven. That is, other than it features a collection of prettiful girls.

I'm pleased that the single version

has retained the wonky DIY charm of the demo, was afraid it might have been polished up and scrubbed clean in the studio. Still sounds great though
