The Yeasayer train is steadily approaching full speed. Earlier in the month we posted a track from their new album, which is called 'Ambling Alp'. It made me, and hopefully a whole lot of you, very happy, in the euphoric, slightly futuristic way that Yeasayer tend to.
Today it's time for the video for that single. It involves naked people running about a desert-type plain, with their bits and bobs bobbling about, so be careful if you're at work. The opening scene reminds me greatly of the beautiful chicken korma I had on Saturday. The vid was premiered over at Pitchfork, so go visit them and have a browse of their journalistic material.
Tomorrow it'll be time for our Q&A with them, as part of our 2010 preview week. In the meantime, click below:
Yesayer's second full-length, Odd Blood will be released on February 8 2010, on their new label, Mute, or on Secretly Canadian in North America. Recording and production of the album was split over the locations of Woodstock, NY and New York City.
