Former Arab Strap man Malcolm Middleton has announced a slew of British tour dates across late November and early December, starting at the wonderful Bush Hall in London and finishing in his homeland of Scotland in Glasgow.
The tour comes with a title: Long, Dark Night. Lovely stuff. Probably pretty fitting, too, given the time of year. Here they are, then:
November:
24 - London, Bush Hall
25 - Brighton, Hanbury Club
26 - Norwich, Norwich Arts Centre
28 - Exeter, Phoenix - Voodoo Lounge
29 - Oxford, Jericho
30 - Cardiff, Barfly
December:
1 - Cambridge, Junction 2
2 - Bristol, Thekla
7 - Newcastle, Cluny 2
8 - York, The Basement
9 - Wakefield, The Hop
10 - Glasgow, Oran Mor
Middleton will also be entering the festive spirit early on, giving away a free track for download to those people who sign up at any of the above shows. The track will be 'Ten Green Bottles', a previously unreleased track. You'll need to sign up at the merch stall to geddit.
