Newly-signed to 4AD Danes Efterklang have just released a couple of tasty teaser videos from their upcoming DVD, Performing Parades, which is made up of their performance with The Danish National Radio Chamber Orchestra of, funnily enough, their album Parades.
As well as the DVD release of Performing Parades there will be a CD audio recording of the show. Also included will be plenty of extras, as we really come to expect from DVD releases these days. It will all be released on October 17.
Plus, you will have surely not forgotten that they're doing a very similar thing with the Britten Sinfonia next month at the Barbican. The Barbican show takes place on October 28. Tickets can be bought from here.
Fellow Nords Jaga Jazzist have just been confirmed as support, too, playing a none-too-common UK show, something which undoubtedly makes the whole performance all the more enticing.
The two video clips from Performing Parades which have been released are of 'Caravan' and album-finisher 'Cutting Ice To Snow'.
Watch them both below. Look at them in their silly hats!
