It is very much múm week here on DiS. So, it is with great pleasure and delight that we announce to you that they've been added to the 10 Years Of ATP Festival, along with Lightning Bolt, Porn, The Magic Band, Tall Firs, Edan and Om.
In addition to all of that, it is now confirmed that doom-rockers Sunn O))) will be playing not once, but TWICE, my friends. One time they'll be playing stuff from The Grimmrobe Demos, and the other time it's work from their acclaimed current long player Monoliths & Dimensions. Exciting times.
That leaves the line up so far looking like this:
Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Modest Mouse
The Breeders
Explosions in the Sky
Battles
Stephen Malkmus and The Jicks
Dirty Three
Tortoise
Shellac
Melvins
Mudhoney
J Mascis and the Fog
The Magic Band
The For Carnation
Papa M
Sunn O))) performing The GrimmRobe Demos and Monoliths & Dimensions
OM
múm
Lightning Bolt
Edan
Tall Firs
Deerhoof
The Drones
Sleepy Sun
Bardo Pond
F*ck Buttons
APSE
Alexander Tucker and Decomposed Orchestra
Porn
Which, I'm sure you'll agree, is a full-on 9 on 10 rating. Perhaps a little bit higher.
The weekend takes place the weekend after the My Bloody Valentine curated Nightmare Before Christmas, on the same site at Butlins, Minehead. That's December 11-13, 2009.
