Three of DiS' very favourite Northern bands head out on tour this week, and one of them has agreed to compile a series of exclusive on-the-road videos documenting the madness as it unfolds.
That's right, Rolo Tomassi, Grammatics and our intrepid video bloggers (voggers?) Pulled Apart By Horses are coming to a city near you, and believe us when we say you're in for a treat. It's a triple header dreams are made of: three of the best - not to mention most vicarious - live bands in the country, all in the course of an evening.
Keep your eyes locked on DiS - we're expecting our first dispatch in a few days.
You'll probably be wanting a reminder of the dates, won't you?

DiS Does Down Under: Playground Weekender Preview
Pulled Apart By... A gammy leg
So no sooner did we post the above, DiS hears PABH guitarist James Brown (no, not THAT one) has been re-admitted to hospital due to a knee injury sustained during a recent tour of the Isle Of Man.
The band have thus cancelled tonight's performance in Leicester - but Rolo Tomassi and Grammatics will still play the date. They're expected to rejoin the tour in Sheffield tomorrow...
Get well soon, James.
pretty funny pic here

hope he is better soon. looking forward to this tour.
i like how hes pointing to his leg
as though there is any way anyone could miss it
shame the Manchester gig's on the same night as Earth
going to have to give this one a swerve unfortunately.
Maybe
It's because PABH are doing Camden Crawl, which falls in the middle of the tour? Not sure, really.
It seems like Grammatics are a little out of place
in this line-up, I guess it's nice to have variety but i'd sooner just see them. The other two bands are a little abrasive for my tastes.
I think all the bands are friends, that's how it happened
Maybe catch them in October when they support Bloc Party? That should be an *ace* tour, two very like-minded bands.
Poor old James
Just had a text from him saying he has been asked to stay in hospital another night! So looks like PABH will be missing a bit more of this tour than expected.
I've seen the leg in question, and yes i can confim it is infected. Well if the fact that its quadruple the size of his other has anything to do with it! :/
GET WELL SOON JIMMY B
Grammatics - Preston
Grammatics play Preston on Thursday April 23rd. :o)
Their only non-tour date. Learn more here...
so
any word on london dates?
I just saw this in Manchester
I really do think Rolo Tomassi are the best live band that I've seen. In fact all three bands are great, and better every time I've seen them (which is about five times).
