Bloc Party and Mystery Jets both began their first tender steps into the world of music-making through DiS, finding members of their bands on the 'Musicians' board. But what to do once you've found that all important lo-fi-sloth-core-happy-house bass player? You want the world to hear it, right? Now DiS has added a new board for musicians to discuss and share their music so you can follow in the footsteps of DiS board discoveries like Los Campesinos! (or Luke Leighfield...) and JAG away to your heart's content...
We've done this in response to your various requests and suggestions, adding a totally new board - Your Music. This is a place where you can share your hidden talents as well as to DiScover the music of other DiSsers.
We hope you will fill it full of links to your musical experimentations, questions about pedals/equipment/studio-trickery, and that fellow DiSsers, curious industry types, lurkers, and random googlers will listen, react and hopefully make a few of their own DiScoveries along the way.
So yeah, it's here: http://drownedinsound.com/community/boards/your_music

I just...
picked up a new Rickenbacker 4003 bass and I have to say that if you are in a band and have the cash these are the best instruments i've ever played. The difference to my bands sound both live and in the studio is incredible!
I used to work with someone from JAG
his attitude was more insulting than his band's music.
yeah
not true about mystery jets though
