You can get a preview of The Verve's forthcoming comeback LP - their first since 1997's Urban Hymns - online right now.
The powers that be at the band's label Parlophone have pieced together an album player featuring snippets of all tracks appearing on Forth, due out on August 25 and reviewed on DiS next week.
Unless you're one of these 'journalists' we hear so much about around these parts, this is your first chance to hear the Glastonbury headliners' newest material.

That says it all really.
The Thaw Sessions recording sounded really good with a nice groove
The single I quite like, but I really don't have much hope for the album.
Ashcroft
is a cunt
I'm reasonably hopeful
the album will be good. The bits I've heard certainly don't seem to sound as overty polished and slick as Urban Hymms (which is a good thing)
