UPDATED: Neon Neon back on the road for UK jaunt

Possibly travelling by DeLorean DMC-12, Boom Bip and SFA bud Gruff Rhys are taking their nostalgic electro wet dream, Neon Neon, back on the road with a few dates across the UK from the end of October.

Following Stainless Style (review) receiving a nomination for this year’s Mercury Prize, the pair have obviously decided where better to take a record about The American Dream to than Gateshead.

Those dates:

October

28 Bristol Bristol Trinity Church

29 London KOKO

30 Brighton Digital

**November

1 Leeds Brudenell Social Club

2 Cardiff Millenium Centre

4 Dublin Tripod

5 Belfast Stiff Kitten

6 Glasgow Oran Mor

7 Gateshead The Sage 2

9 Manchester Ruby Lounge

10 Birmingham Glee Club

this is one of those articles without all the dates.

Bollocks!

I was counting on a SFA tour in the autumn! I haven't seen them this year, the first time in about ten years, I need my fix!

those dates are lame... nothing south at all... NO BRISTOL??? thanks

Wash your mouth out.

Gruff is ALWAYS good enough.

Bristol Trinity Church (October 28)

See you there (Bristol that is)

It's about five minutes walk from my flat. Normally every time something comes on there I'm either unable to get a ticket (The Good The Bad and The Queen), or away (Bon Iver). But this time I am there. Any excuse to worship at the altar of Gruff Rhys...

Good old Gateshead

You know, rumour goes, there's a sign backstage at the Sage which says something like 'Under no circumstances are you to say 'Hello Newcastle''. In fact, I'll rephrase my subject line... Good old NewcastleGateshead :-/

oh

I didn't realise that Neon Neon was Boom Bip and Gruff Rhys. *duh*

Koko

Fucks sake

is it worth it?

judging from what I saw on tv when they played Glasto it looked completely dull, he was sitting down for most of the show it a really cockish way...

very, very wrong

there isn't a less cockish man in the world.

gay4gruff.
