San Francisco duo The Dodos will support the recent domestic release (via Wichita) of their excellent Visiter LP (review) with some September tour dates.
To coincide with the post-festival season dates there will be a single release for the track 'Fools', due September 15. Catch Meric Long and Logan Kroeber, along with second drummer Joe Haener, at the following shows:

visiter is my album of the year
thus far. Great live band too, as verified by seeing them at Hoxton.
2 drummers..?!
Listening to the album I thought one of them would have to be an octopus to recreate these songs live, and I love bands with 2 drummers (not unquestionably of course!), and if it's true that Euros is supporting then, well - roll on September..! :-)
