Parts & Labor announce third LP details

Parts & Labor - seen at this year's Supersonic festival in Birmingham (review) - are to release their new album Receivers on November 3.
That's the UK release, anyway; stateside readers can enjoy it a little earlier, on October 21. Says the blurb:
"Receivers finds Parts & Labor focusing on open spaces, longer movements, expansive arrangements and loftier goals. On eight epic tracks, Receivers showcases the band's catchiest and darkest moods to date, reveling in a growing dynamic sensibility only hinted at in their previous work."
Sounds decent to us. Since the band's last album, Mapmaker (review), the trio have expanded to a four-piece, welcoming guitarist Sarah Lipstate (pictured at Supersonic) to the fold. Without sounding too pervy: grr. Too pervy? Sorry.
The album's tracklisting looks like this:
'Satellites'
'Nowheres Nigh' (MP3 here)
'Mount Misery'
'Little Ones'
'The Ceasing Now'
'Wedding In A Wasteland'
'Prefix Free'
'Solemn Show World'

oh
and really looking forward to hearing the new LP!
so
was i!
i really love parts and labor, but that mp3 download is really disappointing. too much wussy vocals, not enough loud noise!
...
She brings the heat to hotness. I was fortunate enough to meet her. I fell in love.
She has a lovely, experimental side project tha I quite like called Noveller. http://www.myspace.com/noveller
they were ace live
i was giving her perv eyes across the room before i realised she was in the band. this only lead to increase my lust.
Enough with the sexist drivel
She might do a Charlotte Hatherley and ruin the band for all you drooling idiots know. I'm just hoping that the fact that Parts + Labor have like, four side projects isn't going to detract from the main event. Mucs as I love Dan Friel's solo stuff and Shooting Spires, I hope they didn't use up all their best ideas on them, Mapmaker was my favourite album of last year.
pervs
just because shes a chick...come one!! you horny fools.
i bet none of you liked the band prior.
pffft.
you music nerd forum geeks. go get laid.
This site
Perhaps you should leave and go write for ZOO/NUTS?
Great news
and I don't care about the new member !
It's not sexist.
If it was a hot dude, fact remains they'd have added a hot dude.
Hottness + hot rock + ht songs already + hot new LP = whole lotta hot.
P&ListHawtYo.

Yes
