Following DrownedinSound’s announcement of these dates last week to unprecedented clamour, New York’s New York Dolls have today been confirmed as one of the headliners for this year’s Lounge on the Farm.
David Johansen and Sylvain Sylvain will lead some new brethren towards the Cow Shed (Main Stage) at the farm (festival site) on Saturday night (12 July).
Others confirmed for Lounge on the Farm – which runs from the 11th ‘til the 13th of July – include Mystery Jets, Holy Fuck, Los Campesinos!, Cadence Weapon, Art Brut and Billy Childish.
Tickets are still available for the event – entrance for the whole weekend will set you back £85 unless you’re a child. Are you a child? £40.
Day tickets cost £35 and £20 respectively – find all here. See below for those other UK dates:

Gradually improving the bill then
It's a shame the Sunday is so shocking.
Bar the Bookhouse Boys, there isn't a band I'd pay to see on the Sunday.
i reckon...
lupen crook, upcdownc, the bee's,the coral, polar bear and the draytones are all worth a look on the sunday.
but saturday with billy childish, new york dolls, the mystery jets, art brut and los campesinos is enough for me.
hmmm
think ill get a ticket for the saturday.
lets not forgot...
...self proclaimed Kings of Medway The Long Weekend play on the Friday. Yes i am in the band...
I've seen UpC andThe Bees already
and of the rest... Holly Golightly, and Lupen Crook maybe?
Last day isn't worth the money still, but I might go for the whole festival anyway. I'll just scarper when the coral go on!
