Sheffield's The Long Blondes have gone to the dogs of late, literally, for their new video 'Guilt'. It's all a bit Crufts/Best In Show if you ask us. Watch it here:
The single - released on June 30 via Rough Trade - is taken from TLB's latest LP, "Couples". You can find it reviewed here.

shame
I used to really like this band, shame shame.
See above.
Used to be brilliant. Instead of wanking over the 80s like everyone else, they sounded like they'd listened to a load of old Phil Spector stuff.
PS.
Looks like now they've joined the 80s gang. Like Mystery Jets. God. Bad.
Oh I don't know
Guilt is actually pretty good but other than that I've been unimpressed with the second album.
Fulwood Babylon and I'm Coping are two of my favourite songs though and the first album (and pre-first album) stuff is wonderful
I think they may well rise again.
Both produced by Erol Alkan, so figures
I think you're wrong anyway, and still think they're ace. They couldn't exactly bring out another album in exactly the same vein as the first, could they? If you asked me, they've made just enough progression without compromising what made them so great in the first place
Guilt
I'm glad this is a single - it really stood out for me on the record. Nice to see they've honoured the ancient tradition of adding a few pointless production tweaks to the single version, too.
