A raft of new additions including Lupe Fiasco, Hercules & Love Affair, Vampire Weekend and Neon Neon have completed the line-up for this year’s Hove Festival in Norway.
Other last-gasp entries for the DiS-sponsored event, which takes place June 23-27 on the island of Tromøya on Norway’s south coast, are Panic At The Disco, Blood Red Shoes, Ting Tings, Midnight Juggernauts, Jaguar Love, Dengue Fever, Kelley Stoltz, Ladyhawke, White Denim and White Rabbits.
In addition to its real-purdy setting the festival is more environmentally sound than Boris Johnston running red lights on a penny farthing – lower emissions ‘cos they’ve only one wheel – with solar-powered mobile phone charging, windmill and solar-heated water supplies and recycled shopping bags and food packaging.
There’ll also be assorted other delights including a ‘forest clubbing’ with gourmet restaurant and nightly cinema screenings on the beach.
Other acts already confirmed for the festival which make DiS go all queasy with longing include Deerhunter, Beck, Jay-Z, Animal Collective, Black Lips, The Raconteurs, Wild Beasts and Black Mountain, among others.
Tickets are available here at £190 plus booking fee; we’d strongly advise you to get some, vested interests on our part or no.

Let me be the first to say
£190?!
Wow
I agree. Seriously, are you insane to pay that!
I just looked in more detail about the festival...
It is for 5 days, so £190 is pretty much not a bad price.
Yep
And having been there last year I can say: it's a fantastic site, there's a great atmosphere to the place, the staff all treat you wonderfully well, and the girls are...
ahem
Put it this way: it rained and rained and rained last year but the view was always astounding. I can say that, right? I'm not being a little pervvvvy? Will! Rob! Gary! Raz! Back me up...
Rip off.
awful.
WAGS!!! FUCKING EVERYWHERE!
It was impossible to not look at beautiful women as they made up 50% of the population.
And the Amphi stage is a wonderful place to see a band.
You are indeed correct.
But I'm disappointed at Alex missing Baroness, Behemoth, Dimmu Borgir, In Flames etc from the highlights... it truly is a festival for everyone.
The Amhpi stage is most definitely my favourite festival stage... ever. Seeing Neurosis play that last year was something very special indeed.
Norway=WIN
Apart from it being a tenner for 6 Tuborg or something like that. I really want to go to this, maybe next year. Hopefully when I go the weather will be better than last year when it was well...
Regn, regn og mer regn.
WHAT THE HELL
WHY IS IT CALLED HOVE FESTIVAL WHEN ITS NOT IN HOVE!????/?!!!!!!!
^ agreed TRSTN
i was thinking that this might be taking place next to the king alfred....
WAGS!
the wags.
metal is niche

Hehe!
What a disappointment to find out it isn't at the lagoon.
Thanks.
I picked up a bit more from the side of a ferry.
Bli med og bli bid. Apparently...
