Those Dandy Warhols have finished their new record and will self-release the thing later this summer.
No exact date has been confirmed just yet, but Earth to the Dandy Warhols has already found its way into 10,000 AMI jukeboxes in the US. Not in the US? Hear opening track ‘The World the People Together (Come On)’ at the band’s website, find the rest of the tracklist below:
‘The World The People Together (Come On)’
‘Mission Control’
‘Welcome To The Third World’
‘Wasp In the Lotus’
‘And Then I Dreamt Of Yes’
‘Talk Radio’
‘Love Song’
‘Now You Love Me’
‘Mis Amigos’
‘The Legend Of The Last Of The Outlaw Truckers AKA The Ballad
Of Sheriff Shorty’
‘Beast Of All Saints’
‘Valerie Yum’
‘Musee D'Nougat’
Guests are hiding in that list, Dire Straits’ Mark Knopfler and Heartbreakers guitarist Mike Campbell popping up on ‘Love Song’. Interesting stuff.

first track sounds
pretty cool...there is hope once more
wasp in the lotus
is brilliant live tho i dont like the first track. i hope its better than odditorium
i really hope
it's a return to form. Odditorium was just plain bad.
what -- no review yet?
I like it. A return to the sound and style of 13 Tales, but without being anything like a repetition of that album. A couple of dud/unnecessary/indulgent tracks, including a 15 minute ode to nougat (seriously), but otherwise a candidate for my end of year top ten list.
