Indie: Los Campesinos!, Four Tet, Mum and more for Day at the Races festival

A Day at the Races festival is amassing a fine looking line-up - Four Tet, Los Campesinos!, Mum and Jeffrey Lewis will be among those attending in Manchester this summer.

Suburban Kids With Biblical Names and Nina Nastasia will also appear alongside current ‘DiS faves’ The Mae-Shi, Frightened Rabbit and Johnny Foreigner.

So yeah – essentially it’s a bill designed with the average DrownedinSound message-boarder in mind and it takes place at New Century House on Saturday the 2nd of August from 1pm ‘til 1am.

Tickets cost £23 and are available from WeGotTickets.com. For that, all this and more TBC…

oh wow

that looks ace

Where is New Nentury House?

Is it in Manchester? Because all I'm getting by searching on Google is something very corporate that I can imagine such a great event is happening. If so, for once I am jealous that I live in London other than somewhere else.

In aswer to my own question, yes it is in Manchester.

Thanks Mark. On that bombshell, Suburban Kids with Biblical Names best play a London gig. Preferably with Bearsuit.

i am so glad

we are finally getting a whole host of decent stuff to do when the students aren't in Manchester. :D
