Glissando announce new album and tour

Leeds experimental duo Glissando release their long-awaited new album With Our Arms Wide Open We March Towards The Burning Sea on June 23rd through Gizeh Records. Featuring contributions from the likes of iLiKETRAiNS' Dave Martin, Her Name Is Calla's Tom Morris and Held By Hands' Angharad Cooper, the record will be available on all the usual formats as well as a limited edition cassette version of just 20 copies - as labelmates Her Name is Calla will do in June - which is available from the Gizeh Records store.

The band also head out on their biggest tour to date next month - details:

Weren't they splitting up?

They said that their support slot for Stars of the Lid would be their last one, they looked pretty torn up about it. I'm not sure if I could listen to a whole album much but I'm glad they're carrying on, they're pretty unique and their gigs are rather absorbing.
