The B-52’s or The B-52s? For decades the band have been known as the former, causing consternation to sub-editors and confusion in the child community. But when they returned recently with Funplex, their first new, studio release in 16 years, both their website and record sleeves bore the more grammatically accurate latter legend. And, if that wasn’t enough, the file tags for the digital releases reverted to the original, apostrophe-dogged moniker. What’s going on B-52’s?
“Here comes the dogfish!”
Yeah, I see what you're getting at. Anyway, the band are playing a freak’s handful of UK shows:
July
21 Glasgow Academy
22 Manchester Academy
23 Birmingham Academy
24 London Roundhouse
Funplex will be released on the 14th of April.

Great fun!
Well, they were in 1989 when I saw them.
One of the best debut records ever
seriously.
Funny kev, I like.
Sheffield has an Academy now...
why no Sheffield date I wonder?
(Not that I'd go, just interested like)
