Age after beauty? Velvet Revolver to support Led Zeppelin on tour

Led Zeppelin are going to be touring at some point in the near future, apparently, and Velvet Revolver will be supporting them.
The exciting news comes courtesy of rock fuck Duff McKagan, the former Guns ‘n’ Roses bassist who now hopes to prop up Jimmy Page and those other rock fucks for a lurch around stadiums and castles and intimate arenas, or something.
Speaking to BBC 6 Music, McKagan said, in reference to the support slot: “I understand that we have it, although I imagine there will be plenty of bands prepared to kick and punch us out of the way for the privilege.”
Apparently so, as The Cult’s Ian Astbury has also claimed his band’s position on the undercard in the recent past.

I don't know how many people have ever seen "led zeppelin" or "page and plant" but they're possibly one of the worst live bands I have ever seen in my life ever and I have watched entire sets from Bis, Trivium and Cat Power to name but a few on-stage atrocities.

heather mills to stand onstage for a full five minutes, give her a microphone and decide who the bigger travesty is.
Actually the zep aren't that bad, don't like them myself but they're an inspiration for loads of bands i like so...
And considering paul macartney was ready to reform the beatles before george died replacing john with shaun ryder I think there are worse ideas.
