In case you didn’t hear already, the line-up to May’s ATP Vs Pitchfork has been finalised.
So, chances are if your band hasn’t heard by now they haven’t made the cut. Two who have are Girls Against Boys and Bon Iver.
Revered Washington DC noise-rockers and new 4AD signing respectively, the acts join the likes of Sebadoh, Fuck Buttons, Deerhunter, Harmonia, Glass Candy, No Age and Jens Lekman for what looks likely to be a truly fantastic weekend of music.
Where? Pontin’s, of course, the holiday park in Camber Sands hosting all those acts and many more from the 9th ‘til the 11th of May.

YEAH
I <3 ATPee.
i think
EITS wins though. tbh.
Nah
Pitchfork is gonna kick ass. Sebadoh? Pissed Jeans?? Black Mountain??!!! Of Montreal????!!!!!! That's right!
ATP vs EITS...
...update next please!
Although i am overly excited at the line up already I....need......more......BANDS!!
de la soul and polvo
seal it for me on their own. then you have Stars Of The Lid, Lichens, Ola Porida and Eluvium.
then EITS & Mono
and Battles, Four Tet, Atlas Sound and Liars
and dinosaur jr, broken social scene, animal collective & and you will know us by the trail of dead.
and sunset rubdown, the national and a hawk and a hacksaw.
theres something for everyone, and its at minehead, which means you can actually have a pizza whilst watching a band. an actual pizza.
yeh but you might have to
dance with that guy in the tight yellow shirt. you know the one.
i think both line-ups
are superb! s'gonna be a fun fortnight...
Girls against boys!
AHHHHHHHHHHHH!
:D
i dont think i do
you mean one of the staff? did i dance with one of the staff at ATPD3? have we met? who am i?
Minehead takes the 'party' out of All Tomorrows Parties
Yeah, but at Minehead you have the hell that is watching your favourite band whilst light streams through a clear dome thus sapping all atmosphere whilst people wander around eating fast food and bands feel unnerved as all they can see is a neon Pizza Hut sign (witness Low last year)!
..
DANCE WITH ME DOWLING.
no no
there's a middle aged gent. who wears a tight yellow campesinos shirt. he is everywhere. he is legion. he's a pretty mean dancer though. mean as in good, not as in treads on your feet.
the main arena is much
improved...at xmas it had full black curtains hanging down the sides to create a tunnel effect, made things look better and improved the sound... black mountain's sound was absolutely stunning.
yeh the sun coming
through was actually great. and there were birds flying about the top of the tent.
Minehead
Is perfect. Absolutely perfect. And I didnt go at Xmas so am now excited about the improvements too.
yes
you could hear one cooing and flying about in the middle of 'dragonfly pills', it was immensely beautiful
Looking forward to this already!
Is going to be MEGA.
Bon Ivers album is probably the
loveliest record i've heard since my Puff The Magic Dragon cassette snapped in the player when i was 4.
