Probably because he was seriousl;y ill
Did anyone see the documentary on BBC 4 about him the other week?
Was pretty shocking to see how he is now, trying to rehabilitate and get back to singing and playing.
It showed on the doocumentary that he couldn't even play guitar anymore (well at the time that it was filmed anyway)...no movement in his right arm at all.
Good on him for this though.
Yes I saw it!
Im not usually the one to get emo about things but I found it really moving. As someone to whom music plays a huge part of my life seeing someone who was obviously talented and passionate about writing/recording/music in general, suddenly have it all taken away via a stroke was crazy.
I really hope he makes a full recovery.
The documentary before whose witty title escapes me was really good too covering postcard recs etc
...
"Get emo about things"? Jesus.
i might be stupid
but is he the guy who never met a girl like you before in the 90's?
i think im being stupid, but who was that?
no, you're right
that was him!
