Showbiz: Muse to appear in nation's cinemas
- Artists:
- Muse »
Following Matt Bellamy’s recent statement of intent RE: a world stadium tour, it seems Muse are determined to finally ascend into the stratosphere, their wailing spectre looming intangible over all of us like some zen-Big Brother. The band’s recent shows at Wembley have been collected together on DVD, and now Vue will preview the trio’s gigantophon broadcast at a selected number of its cinemas next month.
The benefits? High Definition and 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound, which, if you’re a Muse fan and into such maximalism, must seem more than appealing.
Tickets for the screenings – which will take place on the 11th of March, by the way – cost £10 and will be available from Vue’s website here. You can find the list of cinemas at this emboldened hyperlink.
This is the DVD you’ll be watching, filmed over the weekend of the 16th and 17th of June last year (2007) in front of over 135,000 fans.
