Deacon and more for first ever Hox to Dot festival
Hox to Dot, the newborn London baby brother to the Nottingham and Bristol-bound Dot to Dot festival, has announced the first set of acts set to grace east London stages this spring.
Chrome Hoof and Dan Deacon top the bill so far, with ubiquitous London duo Cutting Pink With Knives and The Ghost Frequency further adding to the apparent theme of sonic chaos.
Anyway, here’s the full list so far:
Chrome Hoof
Cutting Pink With Knives
Dan Deacon
Heartbreak
Juiceboxxx
Legowelt (dj)
Med Damon (Snap Krackle & Pop) DJ
The Ghost Frequency
Thee Oh Sees
We Are Wolves
The event takes palce on the 22nd of May, with “many more” artists set to be announced over the coming weeks to fill space at Catch, Electricity Showroom Basement, Hoxton Bar and Kitchen, the Macbeth and the Old Blue Last.
Doors are at 4pm and advance tickets will set you back £15.

Great bill
I'm definitely there.
This is
the same night as Sunset Rubdown. Balls. Any news on the Nottingham bill? I assume it would be similar and I'd actually be able to make that.
Yeah...
Dan Deacon, Animal Collective and Sunset Rubdown on the same day. Curse you God!
Hox to Dot?
Worst name ever?
Only Dour can compete but that's probably just an unfortunate translation. Yes, this is the worst. Actually maybe V. No, i'm right, it's this.
but....
but....
its in HOXTON!!!!!! RUN FOR THE FUCKING HILLS PEOPLE!!! Look at the man in the picture!!! he might be stood near you!!!!
I'd avoid that are of the world like its plagued. Fucking Nathan Barley Scenester rich parent, "squat" living scum.
That man
is Dan Deacon so he could very well be next to you, and you'd be all the better for it.
Any recommendations
on which of those artists I should check out first? Bought a ticket as it's on my birthday and should be fun with a crowd of mates, but don't know any of those bands, so looking forward to giving them a listen!
have you ever
actually been to Hoxton or just heard about it from the telly?
Chrome Hoof
Dan Deacon
The Ghost Frequency
check out Cutting Pink With Knives recorded but don't bother going to watch them unless you enjoy getting massively irritated.
