7 Cambridge the Graduate
9 Birmingham Hare and Hounds
10 Manchester the Phoenix
11 Liverpool Korova Bar

Scenester nonsense.
You are the world's biggest slag.
Fuck Buttons ftw. Apart from that Andy Hung bloke. He's a racist.
*Reports*
WOW, I just e-mailed myself!
Hmm.
Leeds is the same night as The Death Set. I'll probably go to manchester instead... although I've only been to The Phoenix once and only due to luck did I get in...
Dilemma.
..
FTW? No idea what that means!??!?
I think they're far too Hoxton Square for my liking.
i've slagged them off
lots of times, but might go see what the fuss is about
..
It'll be full of people with 'experimental' haircuts, horrible hooded tops in luminous colours, and pointed shoes.
Are you for real?
Or are these posts some sort of wind up? Do you have any idea what FB sound like?
..
Of course I know what they sound like, otherwise I wouldn't comment!
I've seen them live too, hence my viewpoint.
Nathan Barley would LOVE them. Seriously, think about him saying "I love Fuck Buttons".
Nah.
It cuts deeper. It's meaner. It's too WEIRD, at its core; too avant to trouble too many fashion hacks. They SHOULD enjoy some crossover into that world, simply because they make music that's otherworldly enough to defy shackles of mainstream genre stereotypes, but they're way more Wire/Pitchfork/Us than Dazed et al... and I'm sure the pair would agree. I don't think they've their sights set on being spotted and snapped by Japanese tourists in Rough Trade East. Yet.
x
..
I mean, I don't live in London (tried it0hated it due to the amount of pricks that live there!) so I'm not too sure of the current state of play, but what from what I see in other places, at gigs and such, bands like this seem to cater purely for people who don't like music but like being 'seen at gigs' and essentially people I consider to be vacuous and false. Possibly this may prejudice me towards bands like this this.
Nottingham...
Wheres the Maze?
How do I get there?
How do I buy tickets?
Does anyone want to go?
from what ive heard
this band make music anybody could make in their room. saying that im going to see them in glasgow because i think it will be more interesting live.
Nah, again.
I've seen Fuck Buttons live a fair few times. I've never seen people there NOT because of the music. There's no way they're a fashionable band, in any typical sense of the word.
its not.
trust me.
ok.
i wont bother then.
^ wrong ^
trust me
ahhhhhhh.
opinions.
I'll be going to Glasgow
as much for Alexander Tucker as for Fuck Buttons.
:-(
not for the lack of trying though, i tried big time but dates just didn't work out due to lack of venue availability! :-(((
this
is funny!
that was
in relation to the lack of oxford!
pretty exciting
i might go to a couple of them dates. yay!
ah fuck!
No date in southampton or near abouts. Still yet to see them as well. Maybe a trip to brighton is in order.
just go
and judge for yourself.
Uhhhh uh huh huh
Considering they started in Bristol, seeing them a Hoxton scenester band is complete nonsense. Perhaps all the haircuts and pointy shoes are more to do with current clothes fashions and not music?!
oh, lame. :(
good work anyway, soldier.
I am really looking
forward to seeing alexander tucker again. I am intrested to see fuck buttons live seeing as all the attention they are getting, so I can make my mind up on them. They may be different live, but judging by their myspace, they sound like a really third rate black dice.
Since when
have they been a fashion scene band, what the fuck does that even mean?
Bristol and Worcester yeh those big fashion centres.
Fuck Buttons were my gig of the year last year and I'm a 40 year old cunt, defo beyond fashion fodder.
Go and see them and stop getting on one when a band get popular, it might well be because they are good.
re: Nottingham
Damn You! presents, an ATP Recordings night...
FUCK BUTTONS
ALEXANDER TUCKER

Notingham will be worth it for The Horse Loom alone!
i think
they are good!
great music but it's true they look a bit pretencious in some ways... but this is real music not the useless uk bands around like foals, etc etc...
talking about this kind of stuff... can you advice other uk bands? loop-drones-oriented??!
cheers!
Street Horrrsing
...is a masterpiece and i will fight anyone who says otherwise
grrr
WE tried.
We did get in contact with the agent, and we tried to sort out dates, but we didn't get any come back. Southampton misses out yet again on another amazing band. We can't afford to put on another financially disastrous gig.
Mac
yeah
you old cunt!
;-)
yep, it;'s a pisser but...
should be able to get something sorted for later in the year though so keep an eye/ear out.
The dancing in this video is hilarious
