Best of > Greatest Hits

Wot no

You're The One For Me Fatty or Boy Racer?
Pfft

i'd only ever bring out a greatest hits if

a) i wasn't going to release any more music, or
b) at a push, i was really really skint.

this is ghey.

Roy's Keen?

Alma Matters? ..Friends Become Successful?

It's a bit last-two-albums-centric

i already

have a morrisey greatest hits. and i know for a fact he has had no great hits since

Might as well

just buy You Are The Quarry and Ringleader Of The Tormentors. Almost as pointless as the Libertines one.

"Exclusive"

Is that in the NME.com sense of the word, eg. "no article featuring this exact combination of words by this writer has ever appeared before"? That tracklist has been knocking around and written about for weeks.

That is

an abhorrent tracklisting

There

are only about three songs deserving of being on there

I suppose....

... that, in terms of a 'Greatest Hits' collection, this tracklisting makes sense, considering every track (bar the two new ones) were top 20 hits. It's just a shame that most of them are pretty bad.

^ This

.

Terrible, terrible, terrible

Why bother with a greatest hits package anyway?

It would have been far better to release a 20 track retrospective and to echo previous comments......where the hell are the likes of Interesting Drug, Boy Racer and You're the One for Me Fatty?

The inclusion of two new tracks is a pretty cynical attempt to get fans who already own every other song on the release to buy it...which I shall,
but, only to add them to my iTunes before returning the disc for a refund.

Terrible

That is one of the worst tracklistings on a Best OF/Greatest Hits i have ever seen. I thought this was going to be a great career overview! It's completely pointless

zzz

as IN THE LABEL IN QUESTION GAVE US THIS AS AN 'EXCLUSIVE'...whoops I totally didn't mean for that to be in capitals.

Does anyone

know what's going on with the court case? It's all gone very quiet and the NME website still writes pieces about him like nothing happened. I wonder if this has been quietly settled...

Yeah, nobody goes to a Morrissey 'gig'

..you attend an audience with Morrissey.

Exactly.....

Two tracks from each would have been okay, but, however much I love Moz I far prefer all of the pre-comeback albums.

The placing of tracks 2 and 3

is inexplicable. Both are fucking terrible. Much better to buy Bona Drag.
