Lekman, Redd Kross for Pitchfork ATP
After running this recent news, it’s come to our attention that further names have been added to ATP banners – the seminal Redd Kross, Marissa Nadler and A Place to Bury Strangers.
The trio will perform at the ATP vs Pitchfork event at Camber Sands Holiday Centre from the 9th to the 11th of May 2008 and… what’s this? Apparently Jens Lekman’s not happy with just one ATP, and has been added to the vs Pitchfork bill too. Good times.
“Sales are going fast,” warn the organisers, “so get your skates on if you wanna go to this…..”
Skates. Redd Kross were better before they had to change their name. DiScuss.

Are responsible for some of my favourite live shows, though it's funny how they are labelled as a seminal hardcore act in these pages. In the early 80s, indeed, but by the 90s they had become a fusion of Big Star/Cheap Trick/Jellyfish and one of the most entertaining live bands I can think of.
indeed
They were not better before the name alteration - Phaseshifter is best!
^ this
I'm just a bit scared that these reunion shows are obviously the pre-Phaseshifter line-up, due to dead guitarists and stuff. I want pure pop! I demand pure pop!
don't worry
I saw them with this line-up recently and they played plenty of post-Neurotica stuff too.
i'm pretty sure
its actually the neurotica lineup...
I saw Redd Kross at the Underworld earlier this year.
They were amazing!!!
:)
so did i!
they were great!
Sales
Aren't going fast at all.
Yeah
but the Neurotica guitarist left before Phaseshifter, then the replacement one died. So they got the old one back innit.
