Foals announce first live shows of 2008

After appearing on Later… with Jools Holland and shooting a bewildering new video for ‘Balloons’, Foals look to keep up the momentum by announcing their first live shows of 2008.

The six shows are some of the biggest the act have played thus far, flying solo at least; as they look to Alexandra Palace support slots with Bloc Party in the coming weeks.

The itinerary, after the nine remaining dates scheduled for the rest of the year, runs thus:

March
9 Newcastle Carling Academy 2
11 Manchester Club Academy
12 Birmingham Carling Academy
14 Norwich Waterfront
16 Brighton Concorde 2
17 London Astoria

There’s no word yet on ticket prices for the shows, but they go on sale at 9am this Friday (30 Nov).

You got your impression

he was a wanker from wankers online? Probably.

I am bored.

that entire genre sure does like men. damn.

last time

i saw them at the concorde 2 i literally fell asleep. lol its so weird when that happens to me!!

Fuck Yannis!

Jimmy is the best one. He came out in Leicester with us last month and was such good fun. Great live also.

I think Yannis

...comes across as pretty dilligent and honest in reviews...It's not as if he slates anything that is actually GOOD.

I gathered

They're apparently

playing the oxford accademy as well, according to the carling website.
