Ask Forgiveness is a covers record; taking songs by the likes of Danzig, Björk and R Kelly and reworking them for the release which is due through Domino on the 19th of November.
Oldham’s joined in his efforts by Meg Baird and Greg Weeks of Espers as well as cellist Maggie Wienk.
Tracklisted:

‘The Way I Am’

‘The World's Greatest’ (R. Kelly)
Slaves to our own musical knowledge and Google, DiS came unstuck with the sources of the other songs. We will, however, update this story as we fill the blanks.

the way I am...
Eminem?
my life
billy joel. surely.
RE: the way I am...
Ohbyjesus, an Eminem cover would be splendid. The video for Kanye West's "Can't Tell Me Nothing" with Oldham was perfect.
My Life...
Please be a cover of BOn Jovi's 'It's My Life'.
That would be comedy gold. I'll be buying this - Bonnie Prince Billy is quite brilliant.
I really hope
it is an Eminem cover. It seems likely.
