Rollins set for spoken word tour

Henry Rollins is to embark on a spoken word tour of the UK and Ireland early next year.

The former Black Flag frontman will bring his unremarkable brand of observational humour (or so I’m told, anyway, as if I would know) to the following venues:

January

26 London Hammersmith Apollo
27 Bristol Colston Hall
28 Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall
29 Dublin Vicar Street
30 Manchester Academy
31 Newcastle Academy

February

2 Aberdeen Music Hall
3 Glasgow Theatre Royal

The lunk-headed hardcore veteran is currently performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

and "lunk-headed", eh? I take it you simply looked at his picture and thought "wow, he looks a bit like Desperate Dan"? And have never previously heard of Henry Rollins? Let alone read any of his books, or heard anything he's ever done?
