Super Furries to tour Venus

Enduring Welsh pop faves Super Furry Animals will embark on an extensive tour of the UK and Ireland this autumn, following the release of eighth studio album Hey Venus! on August 27.
The album, which is their first since 2005’s Lovekraft, is also their first long-play release for Rough Trade, and has a faintly doo-wop sound on a few tracks. It sounds 'aiiiiit'.
SFA’s new website has also launched this week (www.superfurry.com), with the first single to be taken from the album, 'Show Your Hand', available now exclusively through iTunes. A full commercial release on 7” picture disk and CD will follow for on August 13.
