Ween to release new EP

Get ready for some more Gene and Dean, as Ween are to return next month with their first material since 2003's Quebec.
The Friends EP is out on August 6 through Schnitzel Records. The new material is, apparently, aimed squarely at the dancefloor. Worried, us?
The EP's title track has already charted in the Billboard top ten and comes with production by the man behind the Crazy Frog. Seriously. His name is DJ Voodoo, aka Reinhard Raith. The EP runs to five songs in length, and not one of 'em will feature on the band's forthcoming new LP, due out in the autumn. Says Dean: “We have recorded a lot of new material the past year and we wanted to give you an appetizer for the summer. It is the ultimate party record, filled with good beats and good times. Perfect for your barbecue, bong hits or whatever it is that you guys do.”
Tracklisting:
'Friends'
'I Got To Put The Hammer Down'
'King Billy'
'Light Me Up'
'Slow Down Boy'

if you're into that sort of thing. It's CLASSIC WEEN. The title track does sound like Crazy Frog or Haddaway or The Real McCoy or something but it is still excellent.
