Young man with old guitar* Jack Peñate has been fined £200 after he drew graffiti on the walls of the Sub Club in Glasgow following his performance at last weekend's T in the Park.
Scottish tabloid The Daily Record reported that graffiti was found on various parts of the club: on speakers, the floor, mirrors and walls. Peñate had arrived at the club just a few hours before these discoveries.
One member of the club's staff told the newspaper: "He had marker pens in his pocket and ink all over his hands, so he was hauled into the office and the police were called. Jack might think this is rock 'n' roll, but it hasn't left him with many friends in Glasgow."
Staff apparently threatened to call the singer's mum after they found Peñate's phone had been left at the venue after his departure. That: actual LOL.
*At the time of going to press we weren't actually sure how old Jack's guitar is. So we're guessing: 39.

Why were they going to call his mum?

every possibly apocryphal bit of information i've heard about this guy suggests he's a complete tosser

if you ever meet him you'll discover he's actually one of the nicest guys ever
I met him at The Forum in Tunbridge Wells
and he was a decent bloke, even though he was playing that scuzz-hole.

Seemed a jumped-up-haughty-so and so.
