Wails: Fflam postponed
The rain in Wales falls mostly on FFLAM.
The festival, in its inaugural year, was due to take place next weekend (13-15 July) and was to be headlined by Manic Street Preachers, Keane and Placebo.
Organisers now say that the adverse weather conditions pissing off the kingdom for the last few weeks have forced a postponement.
"Due to the bad weather, we have been delayed in putting the infrastructure in place and it is a big concern that the weather conditions will hugely dampen the experience we want to give all our festival goers."
Is it physically possible to 'dampen' Keane? Anyway, organisers say it will definitely go ahead, and are looking to confirm when in the next week. Refunds are, obviously, available if this has aroused a sufficient portion of your ire.

Hmmm
How many tickets have they sold?
Well
I have heard that it wasn't too many. Also it was reported in a Welsh newspaper they where suddenly being snapped up, although this seemed just a ploy to encourage people to buy them.
A shame
It'd be good for a big festival to get off the ground in Wales, but I can't help thinking that's the actual issue here... festivals never stop for bad weather.
yeh it's blatantly bollocks
and I doubt very much that it'll actually be rescheduled.
Terrible terrible line-up. I don't really know what audience they were pitching it at -I'm not sure the organisers knew either really.
Vive le Green Man.
I'm with you on the tix issue
Just last week we were asked if we'd like to cover it and the accreditation paper insisted it was returned to them by 25/6. Not much uptake then.
