Transgressive, home of the likes of The Young Knives, Foals and Battle are to release the next Iron & Wine LP in the UK. There will also be an exclusive London show next month.
As reported here a few months ago, the new record will be entitled The Shepherd’s Dog, and will hit the stores in September. An EP, Boy With A Coin, will be available on 10” vinyl a couple of weeks earlier.
In London town, Sam Beam (AKA Iron and Wine), will be performing a solo show at The Spitz on Thursday 9th August. Tickets are £10 and available only from the Transgressive website Check www.transgressiverecords.co.uk for details.
Fellow Transgressivian Jeremy Warmsley will support.

Hopefully it'll work the other way, and Sub Pop can take Jeremy Warmsley to a larger audience.
