Remember Milburn? They're back: tour and second LP

Rather eclipsed by the success of another indie-rocking outfit from their hometown of Sheffield, Milburn nevertheless return to touring ways in September. Excited? Yeah, we bet you are.

The band have also been hard at work on their second album, the follow-up to last year's Well, Well, Well. A MySpace post reads as follows:

"We've been locked up in Brighton, Liverpool and Sheffield writing stuff for a new album. We're going into the studio at the end of Feb/early March to start recording, some of the titles floating about at the moment include: 'What Will You Do (When The Money Goes)', 'Ships At Night', 'Bridges & Bicycles' and 'Stay At Home'. The plan is for a release in the early summer."

Is it not early summer now? Anyway, dates below; tickets are on sale now.

ok

"What Will I Do (When The Money Goes?)"
this would suggest that they've made any money to atart with, and I don't know anyone who's bought a Milburn record.

(Nice use of) brackets though.

I've seen more Milburn albums

in second hand record shops than in record shops...
I smell promo copies !

I smell chumps!

Why do this band exist?

to give

the arctic monkeys some inspiration.

and then to be mocked for being pretty boring.

the demo's

were far better.

and i don't mean another band called the demo's too. though i'm sure they exist.
