Rilo Kiley announce new LP details

you could have read this last week on pitchfork... good to see DiS ontop of the news.

saw them support Bright Eyes at the Wulfrun a couple of years back, when asking my girlfriend of the time what she thought of the night, she commented that after seeing Rilo Kiley, Bright Eyes were pretty dull, dark and moody, with RK being fresh, happy, and a dose of sunshine fun on a dismal wolverhampton night. I agreed with her completely.

in 2005 is one of my favourite gigs - hope they're not too big to play there again.

y'see, some bands are newsworthy and they have press officers who send out press news.
not everyone reads both sites.
i don't read pitchfork so i didn't know about it.

if I remember correctly. It was a chilly Sunday night.

I fainted. Twice.

That was fun.

this is way more like more adventurous and way less like execution. it's really, really over produced, super polished, very much the sound of a band who don't actually care about anything much other than being famous.
