New Brighton all-dayer: Loop
Brighton will play host to a new all-dayer event this summer, Loop.
The day-long festival will be held at the city's Victoria Gardens on August 18, from midday until 10pm. Tickets for the festival will be on sale from May 8.
Confirmed to appear, so far, are:
Foals, The Aliens, The Bays, Husky Rescue, Metronomy, Bonobo, Mira Calix, Clark (pictured), The Go! Team, Icarus, Ultre and David E Sugar.
More bands will be announced at the festival's official website, here, in the coming weeks.
The event - to be spread across four areas - will showcase everything from futuristic electronica to acoustic folk. Other aspects of digital culture will be represented, with animations, films, dance performances and VJ sets scheduled.
Tickets will be available from the Loop website for £20.

I was stumped about where the Victoria Gardens are! Pretty good line-up, Metronomy are always fantastic each time I see them. And always have a new set of dance moves that amuse and amaze me in equal amounts. Bring it on!!!!
