Most Bloc Party songs are more tuneful than anything this attention seeking dullard will ever do. I've not heard a 'dance' record with a tune in a very long time.

but other than that i agree with what you're saying. Silent Alarm was a very good debut, especially considering they left, in my opinion, three of their best songs off the album ('Little Thoughts', 'Tulips' and 'Skeleton'). A Weekend in the City, on the other hand, is contrived, doe-eyed pap.

Still, compared to Calvin Harris they're musical masterminds.

Hunting for Witches is brilliant. I normally hate bands that get critical acclaim, so they must be good;)
