The headliners for the Tibetan Freedom Concert has been announced and they are: Pulp, Morcheeba and Joe Strummer with the Beastie Boys. The event will take place on September 15 in London. On July 31st the complete full line-up will be announcement tieing in with new website @ tibetanfreedomconcert.com. The organisers are considering Brockwell Park as a venue.

The Tibetan Freedom concerts are held to raise money for the Milarepa Fund, an organisation founded by the Beastie Boys supporting non-violent actions to end the Chinese occupation of Tibet. Their website can be found @ milarepa.org

"The Milarepa Fund is an international organization that supports the Tibetan people's nonviolent struggle to regain their freedom. Through grassroots activism, direct action and events such as the Tibetan Freedom Concerts, we actively seek an end to the Chinese government's occupation of Tibet."

Stop China exploiting Tibet!

YAAAY BEASTIE BOYS!! I've waited a while to see em and I'm glad they finally heading to our shores, even better they bringing awareness for such a worthwhile cause such as Free Tibet.
