Stereophonics' new album "complete", says Kelly Jones

Welsh rockers Stereophonics have finished their new album, the follow-up to 2005's not-so-great Sex Violence Language Other. Hopefully the new LP, as yet untitled, won't have such a shite name.
Lead singer Kelly Jones spoke to Xfm about the record:
"It’s a big sounding record with the energy of the last album but the big choruses and big songs of Performance And Cocktails. It’s a good mix of what we've been up to."
A track called 'Bank Holiday Monday' will be made available as a free download for anyone who buys tickets for the band's forthcoming UK tour, pencilled in for November. Also on the schedule for 2007 is a re-release of the band's debut Word Gets Around and a DVD, Rewind.
So there.
For some reason
I'm finding 'Bank Holiday Monday' a chortle-tastic name for a single.
'Local Education Authority.'
'Preliminary Driving Licence Application.'
or...
'shroves tuesdays'
..
'endowment policy'
'Eastbourne's road safety scheme'
Haha
Well spotted.
That said
I did like really like Word Gets Around when it came out. That said, I was 12, I think.
If the lead single is as good as Dakota
then I won't be complaining.
I liked WGA as well
but most of their output since then has been total gash.
Yessssssssss
This is the news I've been waiting for...
....
WOW!
EXCITED NOW!
it was great
I still think it is
Dakota
I seem to remember buying the single in shock, just wanting to make sure that the Stereophonics had really put their name on a catchy tune that sounded nothing like Rod Stewart playing Vegas. Then it was No.1 in the charts!!! I felt used and not just a little slow on the uptake. The same gimmick won't work this time you weasels...
I wish
Stereophonics would die
snap!
i also wish you would die.
i lost my shoes at a stereophonics gig
I'm so punk rrock.
'endowment policy'
this is literally amazing. literally. whatever that means.
...
vernal equinox
commonwealth day
Kelly has such an eye for detail!
The 'Phonics
really should have broken up after 'Word Gets Around'. That was a great record, especially if you grew up in South Wales and understood what he was on about. It was all downhill from there...
me too
then he forgot how to write lyrics. saddengog.
EH STERRPED
TER FILL MEEEHHHH CEEEEHHHRR EEERRRRRP
Just enough enthusiasm to...
...nah, sod it.
"the follow-up to 2005's not-so-great Sex Violence Language Other."
Like you've even listened to it.
Fucking shite
A track called 'Bank Holiday Monday' will be made available as a free download for anyone who is dumb enough to buy tickets for the band's forthcoming UK tour, pencilled in for November. Also on the schedule for 2007 is a group suicide pact, followed by the re-release of the band's debut Word Gets Around and a DVD, 'The Stereophonics Doggystyle'/
So there.
Stuart Cable..
..needs to return, he was the clear star of the group. Is the random Argie still on board?
New Album
FYI: New album is called 'Pull the Pin'
Hope that isn't too 'shite' for you.
New single is awesome. Went to their Blackpool gig and the crowd loved it. They also played some other new tunes set for the album:
My Friend
Means Nothing
and some others, all of which were fantastic.
New album greatly anticipated...
