Sad news reached the DiSopolis: Collapse, one of London's finest straight-up no-bullshit no-haircuts punk bands, have called it quits.
The band - DiScovered here - were kind enough to play a DiS-curated show back in June of last year. Vocalist Steve sent us the following message:
Some of you won't care, some of you will be glad and hopefully at least a few of you will be devastated to hear that we have decided to call it a day!
We will not go into reasons here, but feel free to ask us when you see us. You will probably get three different reasons, all of which will be LIES! Some of us will be back in other bands and things, and we'll keep you posted via our MySpace page, which will still be checked. So feel free to keep in contact, send us hate mail etc etc...
OH! Our 10" on Fake Product Records is still available, as are the two CDRs we put out ourselves (there are a few of each left), so now is probably the time to buy them if you haven't already done so! (See our MySpace page.) Thanks to everyone who was cool and helped us while we were around!
Thanksss, Steve, Collapse x

that
is a shame. I did enjoy their rawk the couple of times I saw them. They were awesome at Wives' last show - I think that's right. I knew that the guitarist (Matt?) went AWOL for a bit when they were supposed to do a show.
collapse
will be missed I am sure.
ah well
collapse: One of the best live acts in london.
Will be missed.
Look forward to new projects.
More bands should break up.
Ah tits.
That's a shame. They were a reet fuckin onslaught live.
