Larrikin Love: 'remixed' on new single

London quartet Larrikin Love release a new single, 'Well, Love Does Furnish A Life', through Infectious on January 22.

The single - available on many a format, including five-inch vinyl - features a wealth of gurst contributors: Jamie T stars on the band's own version, featuring on the chorus, while Guillemots cover the title track and GoodBooks and Jeremy Warmsly chip in, too. Remixes, that's what the label says. But DiS has heard 'cover' is a little more accurate.

Digital versions are available now; click here to get some into your ears.

The single - produced by Iain Gore - is the latest to be taken from the band's The Freedom Spark album, and follows the top-40 effort 'Happy As Annie'.

how are..

this band doing? Ie one's for the drop or the top?

the GoodBooks one . .

. . is definately a remix . .

pedant

Jamie T sings-a-verse and doesnt touch the chorus. A lady sings on the chorus, but her and her band's name escapes me.
All the "remixes" are available only online.
The physical formats contain two new tracks and a radio version of Silver. Aint seen owt about a 5", just two 7"s, so no idea what's on that.

And the name of the single is A Day In The Life.
