Santa Clyro: Xmas sends Biffy 'Semi-Mental'

Beardy Scots Biffy Clyro will release their first new material for two years on Christmas Day.

According to a press release'Semi-Mental' will be available through iTunes and 'most DSPs'. Whatever they are. [Digital Stink Pods - Ed]

Their label, 14th Floor records, will be streaming a further two songs from the very same Christmas day. And an album - 'Puzzle' - will be released sometime after Hogmanay.

I don't know why, but the thought of this warms the casing of my chilly November heart. And I don't even like Biffy Clyro. Or at least nowhere near to the extent that their rabid army of fans do. I think I just like the memories of olde, where I'd open the new Championship Manager at 8am, installing it at 5 past, and then playing it for 20 hours straight, breaking only to stuff my fat face with pigs-in-blankets.

on zane lowe last night and have seen for the past 3 times ive seen em live i mean, they played it at last years leeds and reading so its not so 'new'. but still, it fucking rocks.
