Biffy cubed in Glasgow: three nights for three albums
I'd love to see that, i'd have to book a holiday off work and go to the 'Tuts 4 times in one week, sounds brilliant. I have seen em on the first lp tour a few times in wolves, will they throw in 'Hope for an Angel' as an encore or soemthing do you think?

Tickets for the four King Tuts nights went on sale last week, and all sold out [obviously] within a few hours.

Re: Biffy cubed in Glasgow: three nights for three
It's a good idea, unless the tickets cost more than £7, in which case (unless they're playing b-sides after) you get a 40minute gig...

BIffy rock, I went to see them in stoke and manchester in 2004 supporting "Infinity Land" and they haven't been off the road since, you can't say they're not hard-working, it's great to see three guys who love what they do for a living.
Re: Biffy cubed in Glasgow: three nights for three
No. You are the ONLY ONE.
Well you should be anyway.

I think they're 'hard working' because they are a little hungry for mainstream success and just aren't quite good enough to get it.
Re: Biffy cubed in Glasgow: three nights for three
how come they're starting to get it then?
Re: Biffy cubed in Glasgow: three nights for three
As far as I've seen, they've just gone around in circles. Second bottom of every Main Stage of every festy across the country for about the last three years (I remember seeing them in the same slot at Reading in 2003 as they were at T In The Park, their homeland, this year).
Some singles scrape the top 40, some don't. Some manage to get into that god-awful NME Chart, some don't. It all just seems like one great big drawn-out nothing to me.
I don't hate them by the way, I just don't quite find them as jaw-dropping as people make out.

Re: Biffy cubed in Glasgow: three nights for three
they'll be all over when the new album comes out, after their 6 months or so break..
after that, they're signing to a major label with a huge fanbase behind them, ready to hit it.
They get regular mentions and articles in Kerrang! and the NME..
The only reason they were on the main stage at Reading/Leeds in that place this year was because they were replacements. They could easily ram the Radio 1 Tent.
The main stage line-up at TiTP was very strong, there wasn't room for them anywhere else.
It's all happening, their steady rise has been deliberate in a lot of cases. They're bigger than any of the 'brit-rock' bands to arise from 2001-2002 that had the shallow success, the possible exception being Cooper Temple Clause.
In any case, they definitely aren't going round in circles.
