Supergrass on Road to Rouen...
what a stupid title.....
Supergrass on Road to Rouen...
They played St Petersburg on their recent tour and it was a pretty laid back song, so if that's an indication then this could be a rock-free affair...
What the heck. I still love Supergrass. One of the most perennially underrated bands.

i think its a good album title, its a play on words with a ramones album title, so that means its good.

Ah Supergrass. I love thee so but haven't bought anything by you since In It For The Money.

Supergrass on Road to Rouen...
In it for the money just keeps giving and giving. If Supergrass didn't have the whole"Alright" thing hanging over their heads, more people would give them more respect for one of the mid nineties best albums. But "Supergrass" the album i found a bit disappointing, one or two songs aside, and i didn't buy "life on other planets". I think their time may have passed.

the album is a bit disappointing...'kick in the teeth' and the title track are the only tracks which sound like the 'good old days'...sorry for the old cliche their...the rest is very mellow indeed. the first track 'tales of endurance' is great, and it is indeed that, takes two minutes to properly get going, just a shame it kinda fades out at the end! the title track is good and 'Low C' sounds much like 'late in the day', whilst 'roxy' starts off promising before deciding to disappear into a 4 minute out-tro. i don't think i should reveal much more - it's only 35 minutes long though folks...'coffee in the pot' is a rediculous 1 minute instrumental so all you get here is 8 tracks really! its not bad though, still not as good as 'in it for the money', which, in my opinion, remains their finest work.
