fromone liverpool fan to the other I was booked to play a gig that night and it coincided with extra time thankfully and finised in time for the penalties - needless to say no-one was watching us!

probably doesnt even realise that a lot of people actually have to get trains back after gigs and that they usually finish at about 11.

i never had an opinion on elvis costello before reading this, now i think he's a dickhead.

Did it ever occur to you that maybe people want to see the bands they like so much that they're prepared to only see half the set, but would prefer (if trains ran a bit later) to see the whole set. I mean for fucks sake, you seem to be suggesting that you should only go to a gig if you can see the whole thing. For a lot of people that would mean not going to any gigs.
