Pop-rock veterans 'The Lilys' have signed to Manifesto Records.
In a statement released on their website, the label have apparently agreed to release two records by the band, the first to come in September 2001.
The band, led by Kurt Heasley, have had many different changes in style, from their Kinks-esque origins up to their more recent sound of kraut-rock. The band have given no indication of which way they will go with their new releases.
The band are most famous in England for their chart success with the song 'Nanny In Manhattan' which was also used in an advert for Levis Jeans.
