American Head Charge guitarist dies on North American tour

American Head Charge guitarist Bryan Ottoson is reported to have died on the band's tour of North America.
Word is spreading across the other side of the Pond that Ottoson was found dead in his tourbus bunk in the early hours of yesterday morning (19 April).
AHC were due to play with Mudvayne in North Charleston. The website of the venue, The Plex, carries the following message:
"The Mudvayne show scheduled tonight had to be postponed due to the tragic death of a member of American Head Charge.
"The Plex would like to extend our sympathy to the members of American Head Charge for their tragic loss, and thank all guests for their understanding during this situation."
As yet there is no official word from the band.

christ. can't be all that surprised though - i was stunned they lasted to a second album, although to be fair this probably does no-one any good.

Ah man...That's a bit of a heartbreaker. I caught AHC at the Mean Fiddler back in March, and they were fucking good. The new album is great too, so this is a tragic shame.

just slightly - most of them went through rehab after their first album ,and if i remember rightly, one of them went completely loopy.

not sure which one it is - not their biggest fan, just have a passing interest in them. And yeah, now you mention meeting in a rehab, that does set a bell ringing, so they may have

I dunno much about them, I quite liked the single "Just So You Know" had some good Patton-esque bits.
