Homo Sapiens is mental

Very reminiscent of the earlier songs like Film-Maker and Been Training Dogs. Really good stuff, can't wait for the album in January.

newcastle

you bastards!

Why is this only being reported now?

Tickets went on sale at least a month ago.

Definitely looking forward to the new album. Saw them at Godiva Festival over summer (for free, score!), the new stuff rocked, fit in really well.

as a reminder...

...nothing more.
Always good to stir interest prior to the actual events, innit.

why the fuck

do people like this band?

The played Newcastle

last week (28th Sept.) at Digital. Very good they were too.

for the same reason your daddy liked your mummy

they see something in them that ignites a spark, a passion, an interest

because

it's the perfect antidote to the shit like kasabian, the automatic, the feeling, arctic monkeys, whatever hype band is parading around this week.

plus, they could give docherty, barat et al a proper kicking

what didz was thinking when he left this band is beyond me

hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I hope the new album is good

they didn't go down at all well in Reading last time they were here, which was a shame. are battle any good, i listened to one song which reminded me far to much of the present by Bloc Party. Battles would be more fun

Grundy, It's because

they are fuckikng great...simple as that.

very well said.

spot on about them being the perfect antidote to the bollocks that's around at the moment.

if you mean the festival 2005

yeah, they did the silly thing of playing half a set of new songs (considering this album still isnt out yet!!) It just wasnt a very comfortable set but i remember that "New Toys" was just sublime.... not a fan of this panzer attack remix version either...

The new stuff is good, "Waiting Game" has its moments, "head" is awesome... And they've definately still got it live - they were ace at Kings in may... Bring on KOKO
