Tomorrow, Friday 4th March, sees the Warp-endorsed The Wheels Instead Of Hooves night at The Electrowerkz, London N1.

 

The event features Warp legends B12 playing their first live show in many years, alongside an equally rare live appearance from Disjecta (aka Mark Clifford/Seefeel).

Luke Vibert and Plaid DJs complete the lineup for Room 1, while Room 2 features a full label showcase by the Autechre-affiliated label Skam Records, and room 3 sees Zurich's excellent SpezialMaterial label take over.

Oh electrowerks is kinda fun in a weird shabby giant warehouse rave kinda way with hundreds of rooms. Bit of an odd feel to it though.

Is anyone going to this? you should check out Snyzych and the
The Doubtful Guest, both old flatmates and rather weird/fun.

This is going to be great. Pity I am almost bankrupt. Snyzych is mental! I have that 'Snort Porridge' 7": deranged acieeed madness to be sure. Aside from him and Ceephax I'd say the ones to check are the Spezialmaterial artists. It's a Swiss label; they don't play here much. Fucking awesome crunchy Autechre/Gescom-type business. Aah my aching wallet.
